(1) Duke at (4) Wake Forest

Ok so Duke is back at No. 1, but will they be able to stay their in the Atlantic Coast Conference?

This matchup is going to be great, and to be totally honest I’m terrified to even sit here and try to make a pick for my streak of 3.  But lets just say I HAVE to make a pick for this game, who would I go with?

I know most of the people playing the Streak for the Cash is ALWAYS looking at ranks.  But in this match it is kinda hard to just do that.  Well lets say that you do, you will have to then look @ the fact the Wake Forest is playing at home in this basketball game.

The Blue Devils (18-1) will really have that #1 ranking challenged today facing The Demon Deacons (16-1).    Especially since they did my boy Lance Storr and GT wrong!

I’m going to have to go with the Demon Deacons here guys.

Wake Forest has won four of its last five home games against the Blue Devils, but the loss came when the Blue Devils were No. 1 in an 82-64 defeat on Jan. 8, 2006.  I’m thinking that they will step it up here.  Although The Blue Devils have taken five of the last six overall meetings and leads the all-time series 155-76.

But the key for them to win tonight is Chas McFarland.  He is going to have to have an outstanding game.  As long as he can score 18 points and pull down 14 boards they will cruise to victory.

However he he doesn’t then the bench will have to step it up, that being Ishmael Smith & Tony Woods.  Also Harvey Hale must shoot much better then .360 behind the 3pt line tonight and Jeff Teague must have an avarge game!

But that’s just me, so all in all I’ll take Wake Forest in this one!  Who would you guys take?
