First pick yesterday did well with the UConn Huskies utter domination of Louisville.

Now today we have a much better selection with 11 matchups coming from Soccer, NBA, NHL and NCB.

Today’s pick comes from the FA Cup matchup between Burnley and West Bromwich Albion.

This is the 2nd matchup after the first went to a 2-2 tie at West Brom.

The obvious pick here is Burnley. With West Brom having absolutely nothing to play for besides an ego booster, Burnley will come in charging, willing to prove to the EPL and to their fans that they deserve some respect and the right to be bumped up to the EPL.

There aren’t that many great teams beneath the EPL but if there ever was one, it would be  Burnley.

You may think, but how could Burnley win when they are playing a team from a higher league?

Burnley has a resume to make the NCAA selection committee lick their chops…with wins over Arsenal (2-0) Tottenham (3-2) Fulham (1-0)  and Reading (1-0) and a Draw AT Chelsea, all of these coming in the Carling Cup.

When it comes to tournaments, it seems Burnely knows how to bring 100 or even 150%.

Looking at the other side of the pitch at West Brom…

They have several midfielders and defenders that are in question of injury, with so many casualties plaguing the team all year long.   NOT to forget mentioning, West Brom is Dead Last in the EPL and as this game will not influence their league standings, I do not believe they will bring their best and may not even start their best squad.

West Brom is 1-2-9 in League play.  1 win, 2 draws, and 9 losses.  In their last match against Burnley, Burnley controlled the ball 57% of the time!  In soccer that is ridiculous!  For example, in the Chelsea Liverpool match on Sunday, although Liverpool led 25 shots to 8 and 9 shots on goal to a mere 2 for Chelsea, they controlled the ball only 52% of the time.

Burnley, although only coming up with a draw last time against West Brom, is the much better team, and I’m looking for a 2-0 maybe 3-0 win for them tomorrow.

Good luck betting
