Unlike Ealltheway and Swagga, I have a new gameplan, a new mind set if you will, going into this new month of February.
1 pick each day.
In the past I feel as if I have gone much too quickly, although starting around the 5th or 6th of January, I still picked every game that I could even without a possibility of winning the Monthly Wins prize.
Why just 1 pick each day?
Look at the leaderboard. Most of these guys don’t get there by picking 2/3 times each and every day.
They take it slow, evaluate their best chances for each pick, make an educated selection, and slowly but surely make their way up to 15, 16, 18 wins.
The first pick I like to start this all off is the Connecticut Huskies.
at 20-1 its hard to argue against the new #1 team in the nation and one of the Big East favorites. Their only loss coming in the first game of the Big East season against Georgetown in a game which I like to think is much in the past for the strong Huskies.
Now it seems as though every time a new #1 comes into power they get knocked off and a new #1 steps up each week.
But I just don’t see this happening tonight. Louisville is 8-0 in the Big East and I think that their great run stops here.
Hasheem Thabeet has been playing brilliantly and I like that to continue at Freedom Hall.
Here’s to the first win in hopefully a good streak.
