What up world this is R Minish giving my in depth analysis of the Cavs-Magic showdown at 8 p.m. Eastern on TNT.

760 RAPTORS V MAGIC GM1

The Magic come into this game as 5 point favorites at home. This will be a showdown of NBA greats; Dwight Howard and LeBron James.

The Magic are favored and are for good reason. They are 17-4 at home with those losses coming to quality teams in Atlanta(first game of season), Portland, Houston, and Boston. 3 of those 4 were in the first few weeks of the season and most recently Boston who was just hungry for a win. The Cavs are only 14-8 on the road and have lost to mediocre teams such as Washington, Chicago, and Miami.

Bron Bron will get his and there’s really nothing they can do about it, expect close to 30 from him. The key will be the Cavs being able to stop Dwight Howard without Ilgauskas and guarding a now healthy Mickael Pietrus. Pietrus is a vastly underrated player for the Magic and as shown by his first performance back from injury he can poor in the points(27). The Cavs will not be able to guard threats such as Howard, a surging Jameer Nelson, Rashard lewis(leads NBA in 3pt’ers), Pietrus and you can’t forget about Turkoglu. I am a huge Magic fan but this is by far not “homerism” ,if you will. The Magic come to play at home and they will not drop this game to the Cavs.

This won’t be a blowout but expect atleast a 6 point victory for the Magic.
